I'm a Professor in Fluid Mechanics and the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Polytech Lyon, University Claude Bernard Lyon 1, and a researcher at the Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics Laboratory (LMFA) in Lyon, France.
My research interests cover a broad range of fascinating flow phenomena with applications in industrial, environmental and geophysical fluid mechanics. Currently, I'm looking at research problems related to the fluid mechanics of cleaning and decontamination, the drag reduction of flow over superhydrophobic surfaces, spreading of surfactants in confined geometries and the dispersion properties in turbulent jets, plumes and fountains. Have a look at my research page if you want to know more! I am also involved in research groups on the science of cleaning and decontamination. |
